To be fair I found most of the closing ceremony, cheap and cringe worthy. A decent PA system would have helped.

Thank fuck we won the cracking game.

Mark Noble's testimonial seemed a more appropriate tribute to the end of an era, it was so well done. Rather lovely, really.

I always wonder if they hadn't aligned themselves so closely with WHU, would they still be a going concern?

It was shit but still preferable to opera.

They were booked to perform their version of Bubbles which is quite often played at the ground on match days. They did it, if you don't like it then fair enough, I can't think of a better version of the song on record myself though.

Re: cockney rejects
put them in a small venue like the Old bridge house or the 100 club and they are pretty good , difficult for them out there last night .

Being burned alive is preferable to listening to opera.

There are plenty of far less interesting sounding punk groups of old still on the circuit, none of which are aligned to football teams, they survive, so yes they would.

Far less interesting groups sounding still surviving? Jesus, that's quite frightening...

They're the reason why I began supporting the club as a kid so I can forgive them for just about anything even though it was a bit shit.

Also arguably the biggest influence (other than the ICF) for a sizable part of West Ham's overseas support.

Dog shit, I hate their version of Bubbles it is fucking diabolical.

So pleased the fans piped up with a proper version before we left, couldn't have that shower as last rendition at UP.

They are what they are and never pretended to be anything else, as far as I am concerned they represent young anarchy (Though not now) and West Ham, who lets be honest can and have been a little shit on occasion too.

Sacrilege maybe?.
Rather Hammers fans than anyone else.
